Board moves to audit L.A. County children services0 comments

Following a Times report about the suicide of an 11-year-old boy, two county supervisors introduce a proposal to evaluate the department’s management and effectiveness in child abuse investigation.


Los Angeles County supervisors took steps this week to hire an independent auditing firm to conduct a sweeping review of the troubled Department of Children and Family Services.
